Autostar Group is one of the major Italian operators in the automotive sector and operates throughout Italy with an online sales and service department. Thanks to its 12 offices distributed in 6 provinces, over 400 collaborators and 10 prestigious brands, it is the reference point in the North East of Italy for the Mercedes-Benz, AMG, smart, BMW, BMWi, MINI, BMW Motorrad, Maserati and Mercedes brands -Benz Van.

The Group has always been a pioneer in applying new strategies and in investing resources in technology and development, with a real orientation towards the market and the Customer, to anticipate developments and needs and create new experiences.

To implement this great vision it was essential to ensure reliable broadband connectivity and high-performance, always-accessible application services at all Group sites. And for this reason they turned to Inasset.


To develop Autostar’s digital transformation process, Inasset has created a private fiber-optic network that connects all the sites to each other, i.e. a super-fast connection that allows all the services and tools to effectively support all the pre and post sales processes, and all the activities related to assistance, consultancy and contact with the customer.

At the same time, Autostar Group’s IT infrastructure has been migrated to a cloud platform sited at the Inasset Data Center which is also connected to the Group’s network;  the IT infrastructure dedicated to Autostar is always available, fully scalable and with a guarantee of maximum reliability and data security.

To increase the level of business continuity of the company and to comply with the regulations currently in force in terms of GDPR, a Disaster Recovery system was activated at the Inasset data center in Bergamo, to allow resilience and availability of data at any time also in case of catastrophic events.
